On our recent trip to down to Dogstival, we spent the night around halfway down at Holiday Inn Bromsgrove

It was a lovely night stay, we were able to have Storm join us for dinner in the bar area. We think the same could have been done at breakfast although we were not sure so we left her in the room just incase she was not allowed.

We set off for an adventure day to Coltwold Wildlife Park. It was very busy and the cars were qued back right to the gates. We were excited as this was going to be Storm's first proper encounter with a lot of animals.

At first she was a little unsure of the Zebra's our first of many encounters with animals but as you can see above she soon settled in and was very chill and happy. We weren't sure how she would be as she has been known to have a high prey drive but can happily live with animals we've found as of recently after some training she is living with 6 chickens and 7 ducks.

There is lots to see and do... plenty to see and do including a train that goes round the whole park. Some of the areas mainly the indoor parts do not allow the dog in.

There is plenty of room if you find your dog is struggling with the animals you don't have to be up close there is lots of space to chill and watch from afar.

We would recommend spending a full day here we were only here for a few hours due to travelling but could have done with the day here. We had a fab day out and would recommend it to anyone in the area.

The grounds and gardens are also stunning so we thoroughly recommend stopping and admiring them too.

Our Paw Rating for this day out was:

4 out of 4 paws
